Pura Vida Studio Sublease Agreement

Renter/Instructor agrees to and understands all the below terms and conditions:

1. For 1 Hour Rental option, the Renter/ Instructor agrees to a minimum 1-month commitment and at minimum bi-weekly classes to receive the discounted rate. If you choose to host periodic classes and events, then the Pop-Up option must be selected. If you have questions, contact the studio prior to booking.

2. Booking can be made up to 90-days online. It is recommended if Renter/Instructor would like to reserve the desired time slot for an extended period time, they pay in advance or contact Owner to make further arrangements.

3. For 1 Hour Rental option, the Renter/Instructor agrees to provide liability insurance for $100,000 effective under dates occupying the space listing Owner as additionally insured.  

4. Refund Policy: Due to the nature of our space, all registrations are subject to the following refund policy:

  • All pop-up class bookings are non-refundable.

  • No refunds after the third day of booking.

  • If renter/instructor chooses to cancel entire or partial booking(s), calendar dates become available to the public.

  • If renter/instructor cancels, all door codes will automatically become void.

  • If renter/instructor needs to reschedule classes, use original booking link to reschedule.

Because studio space, instructors, and event resources are reserved specifically for registered participants, the studio is blocked from other bookings once an event is scheduled. For this reason, this policy is strictly enforced.

5. Owner reserves the right to cancel services with the Renter/Instructor at any time with a 14-day notice or immediately if there is prohibited or criminal activity. 

6. Renter/Instructor must be minimum 18 years of age 

7. After each class Renter/Instructor shall: 

• Remove all personal property, trash, and other items that were not present in the workout area prior to class.  

• Use the provided disinfectant sprays and wipes to clean the area

• Use spray mop/vacuum to remove any major debris from the floor after use 

8. Renter/Instructor hereby releases, waives, discharges any responsibility of the Owner of damaged, lost, or stolen equipment belonging to Renter/Instructor. 

9. Renter/Instructor will not be allowed to use the equipment in the studio unless it has been  cleared by the owner.

10. Renter/Instructor may use the stereo system which connects via Bluetooth 

11. All lights and sound system must be turned off when leaving the studio. You may adjust AC  and heat for your classes, but please return the thermostat back to 68 degrees upon exiting the  studio.

12. No open flame or candles permitted at Pura Vida Studio 

13. Renter/Instructor will be liable for any and all physical damages to the premises that occur during their class(es). 

14. Certain events will require a $150 deposit & mandatory $50 cleaning fee. The $100 deposit will be reimbursed after inspection of the facility occurs. Before booking the space for private events such a birthday parties, please contact us.
